If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to conquer Copse, master Maggots or get feisty at Farm – then this is your chance.

The SpeedMachine festival, in partnership with RacingLine, is offering fans the high-speed lap of a lifetime on the Silverstone circuit.

The RacingLine Track Experience is a passenger ride like no other. The team of RacingLine professional race drivers will take guests around the iconic British track on the weekend of May 25-26 in a fleet of the latest Golf GTI and R models.

Passenger rides are included in the ticket price for admission for the SpeedMachine festival on a first come, first served basis for everyone aged over 18. All you need to do is visit RacingLine in the pit garages at Silverstone to sign up.

“We can’t wait to share that thrill of pushing our high performance RacingLine Golfs to the limit with SpeedMachine guests,” said Sam Roach, Managing Director of RacingLine. “The whole weekend is shaping up to be a must-attend event, and we are delighted to be a part of it.”

RacingLine are the world leaders when it comes to extracting an extra helping of speed and power from Volkswagen Group’s performance car range – so naturally these Golfs will be highly modified to add to the thrill of your Track Experience.

RacingLine are also partnering with Cooper Tires for the supply of the Cooper Zeon CS Sport, the ultra, high-performance tyre designed for driving enthusiasts with performance cars.

Paul Bellamy, Senior Vice President of IMG Motorsports, the promoter of the FIA World Rallycross Championship, presented by Monster Energy, added: “We are pleased to be partnering with RacingLine to offer fans the opportunity to experience the thrill of a hot lap of Silverstone.

“It’s not every day you get the chance to follow in the tyre tracks of famous racing drivers on the Silverstone circuit, but at SpeedMachine you can.”

SpeedMachine is also introducing the RacingLine Media Challenge – a chance for the news makers to pit their skills against each other – and grab the headlines for their pedalling prowess.

The Dayinsure World Rallycross of Great Britain is the centrepiece of SpeedMachine but the multi-faceted festival offers an array of motorsport activity, the best of British street food and world-class entertainment.

SpeedMachine has something for everyone – from Sean Paul headlining the main stage on Saturday night to access to all live races, on-track demonstrations, radio control car racing, go-karting, the Monster drift show, supercar exhibits and DiRT 2.0 eSports simulators and much more.
