Local team Force India, based a stone’s throw away from Silverstone Circuit, is supporting D2BD bringing the 2017 Sahara Force India VJM10 Mercedes for spectators to get up close and personal to, and have their photograph with. Force India also supports the charity by providing fantastic signed merchandise for competitions and exclusive behind the scenes access with factory tours.

Dare To Be Different is a groundbreaking, high-profile initiative spearheaded by former Formula 1 driver Susie Wolff and the Motor Sports Association (MSA) – the governing body of UK motor sport – with the aim of inspiring, connecting and celebrating women in every aspect of the sport.

Launched at the beginning of 2016, Dare To Be Different is all about increasing female participation, not just on the track but in every area of the sport and other perceived male-dominated industries. The programme’s raison d’être is to inspire women of all ages and backgrounds to shatter perceptions and break the mould.
